How we got here

Diego Alatorre (left) is the driving force behind our story.
It’s rare to find a $5/hour maintenance coordinator with the integrity and entrepreneurial mindset to not only master the role but also help develop a system that benefits the entire industry.
As a key figure at Empire PM, Diego played a crucial role in shaping many of the standard processes and SOPs that are widely used in property management today.
Fast forward to May 2022—Tom (roofer at the time) walks into Diego’s office with a bold proposal. He offers to inspect all roofs of the 550 properties Diego was overseeing as maintenance manager, for free. Tom provided the property owners with full reports while earning only from approved estimates.
This innovative approach sparked an aha moment. Diego recognized that most property management companies struggle with maintenance coordination, while vendors often offer revenue-sharing models.
And so, the idea was born—giving our clients their ultimate maintenance dream team at zero cost.
Together with Diego, Tom built the business model, software, marketing and sales processes needed to bring their dream to life.
